
The page will refresh and display any mixed content.
In the icon dialog box, click Load unsafe scripts. Click the shield icon on the right side of the address bar ( ). The shield icon will be replaced with a warning symbol to indicate that the page is displaying both secure and non-secure items. In the pop-up window that appears, click the down arrow next to "Options", and select Disable protection for now. At the top of the page, to the left of the address bar, click the shield icon ( ). Scroll down to the entry for "Insecure content", and use the drop-down menu on the right to select Allow. On the left side of the address bar, click the lock icon, and then select Site Permissions. To enable a browser to view blocked mixed content, follow the relevant instructions below. When mixed content is blocked, you may see a blank page or a message saying that "Only secure content is displayed". Viewing blocked mixed contentīy default, mixed content is blocked in Internet Explorer (version 10+), Mozilla Firefox (version 23+) and Google Chrome (version 21+). This is called a web page with mixed content.
If the HTTPS page also includes content retrieved through a regular HTTP connection, the connection is only partially encrypted. The only way to fix this, is to clear your own browser caches.When you visit a secure web page (that is, using HTTPS), your connection is encrypted with SSL. In other words, even though a person clicks on the correct NWU link, the web browser still remembers the incorrect link and directs the user to it. This is because some webpages are still incorrectly cached (meaning the old version is “stuck” in the memory of your web browser (e.g Firefox or Chrome) and therefore displays instead of the correct version).
